ARE LEDs SUPER EFFICIENT?

TRUE. LED bulbs afford in the region of 50,000 hours of light, with some brands boasting as many as 100,000 hours. In general terms, if you use your lights for 10 hours each day, LEDs should serve you well for just shy of 14 years.

WILL LED BULBS CREATE THAT HORRIBLE BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT, THAT MAKES A ROOM LOOK REALLY CLINICAL?

FALSE. Nobody wants to feel like they’re in a hospital when they’re sitting in the comfort of their own living room. LED bulbs actually come in a huge range of colours and tones, and warm tone LEDs are readily available.

LED BULBS CANNOT BE DIMMED?

FALSE. Dimmable LED bulbs are now widely available, and most of our LED bulbs are compatible with dimmer switches. CAN LED LIGHTING SAVE YOU MONEY?

TRUE. A home with 10 standard 50w GU10’s, if used 6 hours a day at an average UK electricity rate, has a running cost of about £165 a year, whilst our LED GU10’s will cost only around £20 a year to run. Quite a saving! LEDs can be employed in a wide variety of situations including offices and restaurants where the reality of a LED light bulb’s lifespan lasting somewhere around ten years can achieve a significant money saving impact.
